Coach Development
As part of the Academy programme for Baseball Ireland, a coaches certification programme has been developed. We encourage all current coaches of all age groups, regardless of experience, as well as any new coaches and volunteers to attend this course as we strive to bring a consistent approach to how we coach the game in Ireland.
Level 1
The Level 1 coaching course is a classroom based activity of 12 modules, covering the basics of baseball coaching, including tips on specific skills of the game, the Baseball Ireland coaching philosophy, practise design and game management.
Level 1 coaching certificates will be provided on completion of the full 4 hour course as well as completion of the national child safeguarding level 1 course.
